 Job Summary: The Art Director is responsible for the conception, design, and production of sophisticated and visually engaging trade publications and collateral materials. The role requires strong typography, visual storytelling, and collaboration skills, along with a strategic mindset to ensure consistent and elevated visual standards across multiple brands.

 Essential Job Function:

  • Conceive, design, and produce sophisticated, engaging trade publications and collateral materials.
  • Follow departmental workflows, including exporting content from proprietary CMS systems and building pages using Adobe products and OneDrive processes. 
  • Create conceptual art, infographics, and perform photo and illustration editing. 
  • Collaborate with editors to ensure full understanding and accurate visual representation of story ideas and information. 
  • Develop and maintain the overall visual style for multiple trade publications: design new sections, conduct redesigns, and refresh the overall magazine look and layout.
  • Manage project files: create templates, maintain archives, and ensure organizational consistency. 
  • Communicate concerns, schedules, and production issues with the publishing team. 
  • Prepare files for print according to vendor specifications. 
  • Design promotional ads and collateral for both internal and external clients. 
  • Keep abreast of trends in magazine and e-product design and publishing, new developments in graphic arts technology, and the creative direction of competitive titles. This position will be engaged with multiple properties.

 Qualifications:

  • Creative thinking

  • Excellent artistic aesthetic judgement
  • Associates Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • 5+ years of publication print design experience

Knowledge/Skill/Ability:

  • Proficiency 
  • with design, illustration and photo editing software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of typography
  • Thorough understanding of the mechanical requirements of print

We are excited to share the salary for this position is $65,000, exclusive of fringe benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.

If you are hired for this position at EndeavorB2B, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
