Position: Volunteer (Non-paid) – Graphic Designer Executive
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Ireland-based applicants preferred)
Time Commitment: Part-time Volunteer (flexible hours, approximately 3 hours per week)

Role Overview:

As a Volunteer (Non-paid) Graphic Designer Executive at BRIA, you will be responsible for developing creative and professional visual materials that strengthen BRIA’s visual identity and enhance its communication impact. This role focuses on producing high-quality designs for digital and print media, including event materials, presentations, reports, and institutional branding pieces. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure visual consistency and alignment with BRIA’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design visual materials that reinforce BRIA’s brand identity and support communication goals.

  • Create digital and print materials, including event posters, presentations, reports, newsletters, and institutional documents.

  • Ensure all designs are aligned with BRIA’s visual guidelines, maintaining consistency across formats.

  • Develop innovative design concepts that elevate the organisation’s visibility and community engagement.

  • Collaborate with departments such as Events, Communications, and Partnerships to support design needs.

  • Prepare layouts and templates for use across internal and external communications.

  • Stay updated on design trends and tools to continuously improve BRIA’s visual presence.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar creative role.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Canva.

  • Strong understanding of visual branding, layout design, and typography.

  • Ability to transform ideas into visually engaging designs that resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Experience in both digital and print design.

  • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.

  • Familiarity with multicultural or community-based organisations is an advantage.

  • Experience with video editing or motion graphics is a plus.
