Senior/Principal Product Designer

Position Overview

We seek a talented Product Designer to craft exceptional user experiences for our revolutionary AI healthcare platform. This role focuses on translating product requirements and user insights into intuitive, accessible design solutions that enhance our existing platform. Working closely with our Director of Product, you'll be responsible for visualizing new features, optimizing user flows, and ensuring our AI doctor platform delivers seamless experiences across web and mobile interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Design & Visualization (50%)

• Transform product requirements and user insights into compelling visual designs and interactive prototypes

• Design new feature experiences that integrate seamlessly with our existing AI healthcare platform

• Create detailed user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for new functionality

• Collaborate with the Director of Product to translate user research findings into actionable design solutions

• Develop design concepts for AI-powered healthcare features

User Experience Optimization (30%)

• Enhance existing user interfaces to improve usability, accessibility, and patient engagement

• Design responsive experiences that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

• Create intuitive navigation and information architecture for complex healthcare workflows

• Optimize conversion funnels and user onboarding experiences

Design System & Collaboration (20%)

• Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all product touchpoints

• Create reusable design components and patterns that scale with product development

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs

• Work with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, business development, and customer success

• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and gather feedback for iteration

Required Qualifications

Design Experience & Skills

• Deep consumer experience across multiple companies

• 5+ years of product design experience with a focus on web and mobile application design

• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user interface design, interaction design, and visual design

• Proficiency in design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools

• Experience designing complex workflows and multi-step user journeys

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design approaches

Technical & Process Skills

• Experience working closely with product managers and translating requirements into design solutions

• Knowledge of front-end development constraints and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams

• Understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies

• Experience with design systems, component libraries, and maintaining design consistency at scale

• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout principles

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders

• Experience working in fast-paced, iterative product development environments

• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple design projects simultaneously

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to incorporate feedback and iterate quickly

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in startup or growth-stage environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience designing for healthcare, telehealth, or regulated industrie

• Experience designing AI-powered or conversational interfaces

• Background in accessibility design and inclusive design practices

• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare privacy requirements

• Experience with user research methodologies and translating insights into design

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field

• Experience with design in seed/Series A stage companies
