At TruckSmarter, we're reshaping the industry by focusing first on truck drivers. Trucks move 71% of freight in America (~$800bn annually), and the trucking industry represents nearly 6% of the full-time jobs in the country. If you look around you, every item has sat on a truck at one point on its journey to you. However, despite the industry being one of the greatest levers of innovation throughout history, it is still deeply fragmented and structurally misaligned. TruckSmarter is looking for a Senior Brand Designer with experience managing the core brand, including a new suite of AI products, across multiple channels.
This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with our leadership team to shape the visual identity and brand strategy that drives our business forward. We’re a lean XFN team that includes design, product, engineering and operations. We foster an entrepreneurial, supportive culture grounded in collaboration, craft, and execution, all in service of improving our customers’ lives.
Evolve the existing TruckSmarter brand through digital activations (static and video) for a wide variety of channels across a broad range of media, including web, email, mobile, social, and paid ads.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to establish a differentiated and high quality digital brand presence.
Collaborate with our design manager to create high-quality work that delivers on our brand and business strategy.
Own all content, brand, and marketing projects from concept to final execution and iterate on designs to optimize performance.
Harness AI tools like MidJourney, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini where needed to augment assets.
At least 5 years of digital creative experience, with at least 2 years in senior creative roles.
Portfolio showcasing multidisciplinary brand design expertise, including brand development, visual solutions, storytelling, digital advertising, and web design.
Proven track record developing both brand-focused and performance-driven creative assets.
End-to-end creative experience from conceptualization through execution.
Startup mindset with willingness to drive change and build processes from the ground up.
Excellent working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Nice to haves:
Experience servicing Direct-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business companies.
Experience with product marketing.
Proficiency with web development or tools like Framer.
Proficiency with lifecycle marketing using tools like customer.io.
Motion design experience with After Effects, LottieFiles, or similar tools.
A background in transportation or logistics.
