The Role:

This role will begin as a Product Designer - Consultant, with strong potential to transition into a full-time position.

We’re looking for a talented person who cares about the entire product lifecycle - from strategy and user testing to pixel-perfect UI. You will partner with the product team to architect flows, refine information architecture, and design the next generation of AI-enabled features for the DiligenceVault platform. 

You won’t just be designing static screens; you will be designing assistive workflows where humans and AI collaborate.

What you’ll do:

• Strategize & Hypothesize: Partner with Product Managers to turn user needs and AI capabilities into actionable design hypotheses.
• Design for Intelligence: Craft intuitive interfaces for generative AI and automation features, focusing heavily on user trust, explainability, and feedback loops.
• Architect Adaptive Flows: Break away from traditional linear navigation to design smart, context-aware interfaces where the UX adapts dynamically to user intent and AI suggestions.
• Master Desktop Complexity: Focus on designing high-density, data-rich desktop experiences optimized for deep work and complex decision-making, rather than simple responsive mobile layouts.
• Concepts to Prototypes: Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that account for dynamic content and non-deterministic AI outcomes (e.g., "what happens if the AI is unsure?").
• User-Centric Iteration: Conduct user tests to validate ideas—specifically looking at how users interact with automated suggestions versus manual inputs.
• Question Everything: Thrive in a startup environment where you are encouraged to take risks and champion new ideas in human-computer interaction.
   

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years of total work experience, with recent 2+ years specifically in Product Design (UX/UI). Prior experience in FinTech, InvestTech, or enterprise SaaS is strongly preferred.
• AI-Assisted Workflow: You don’t just design for AI; you design with it. You are fluent in working alongside LLMs and AI tools to accelerate the creation of UI, visuals, and copy (e.g., using AI for rapid iteration, content generation, or synthetic data).
• Toolkit: Expert proficiency in Figma is non-negotiable. We need someone who maximizes Figma’s modern features (Variables, Auto Layout, Prototyping, Prompt to Design).
• AI & Automation Mindset: Strong interest in designing for complex automation. You understand that designing for AI involves handling error states, latency, and "human-in-the-loop" moments.
• Research: Hands-on experience conducting user tests (in-person or remote) to inform your design decisions.
• Approach: A human-centered design philosophy and the ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced startup culture.
